Good things deserve to be found.

TopThingsOnline is a home for useful websites and apps. A place to find a new tool, follow your curiosity, and share something that makes life a little better.

Curated by people. Ranked by you.

Every new submission is reviewed before publication. Once it is approved, the community decides how useful it is. There are no paid ranking positions.

How rankings work

Rankings use useful votes minus not-useful votes within the selected period. Daily rankings begin at midnight UTC. Weekly rankings begin on Monday at midnight UTC. New projects are sorted by publication date and show all-time vote totals.

Each browser can cast one current vote per project. Clicking your selected choice removes it; choosing the other option switches it. Clearing cookies permits a new browser identity, so this is lightweight community voting, not verified-person voting.

About the demo collection

When running without MySQL, the directory starts with real public products and illustrative vote counts. These counts are sample data, not endorsements or verified community activity. Your votes and submissions are saved locally. A production database starts empty unless demo seeding is explicitly enabled.
